EURO 2016: Late Czech Republic goal savage vital point against Croatia
Czech Republic today fought back to draw level 2-2 and clinch a very vital point against croatia at the on going European championship in France.
The game which was played at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Étienne saw some bizzare moments when the Croatia fans chucked several flares on to the pitch near the end before fights broke out in their section which lead to a temporary stoppage in play by referee Mark clattenburg.
Croatia led by 2 goals and were vastly superior to the Czechs thanks to goals from Barcelona Midfielder Ivan Rakitic.
They looked like they were going to win by a handsome margin but weren’t the same side when Luka Modric went off. The Czechs fought back through substitutes Josef sural and Tomas Necid, meaning that they’re still alive.
A point for both teams means Croatia goes top of group D but could prove costly if they finished second. The Czechs on the other hand have hope of qualification with a game against Turkey at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens on the 21st of June.
